Vortex-Airfoil Interaction

This FLI animation shows the pressure contours during the interaction of vortex with an airfoil. The gray color represents values close to the free-stream pressure. The blue shades indicate a lower pressure, and yellow and red shades are higher values. The airfoil has a NACA23012 profile. The vortex is clock-wise rotating. The free-stream Mach-number is Ma = 0.8.
